Soon, augmented reality will be a more significant thing, especially when it comes to social media. Social media will utilize augmented reality to bring videos to life with sunglasses soon.

Anything that brings an object into the room that makes it lifelike can potentially go viral, especially with YouTube shorts. I don’t think augmented reality works as well unless it is short, and the reason that is that shorts give you the opportunity to kind of flip through stuff.
Augmented reality may have that ability to keep people watching.
Let’s say you’re flipping through different augmented reality short videos. Well, it’s going to be cool to see other things in your room over time. I do think there is enormous potential for augmented reality soon short content.
Right now, the technology is not there for augmented reality. Once sunglasses can have augmented reality, and I mean cool-looking sunglasses, not what we see with VR tech these days, whoever can do this first will have a considerable advantage.
Most likely, a company that makes phone technology could develop it, but very expensive. But as the price drops, expect augmented reality to be something people always do at the park or other places. It’d be cool to see what types of shorts content can be produced from augmented reality.
We most likely will see 3d models and animations come to life. Or could it just be another gimmick? I’m not entirely sure, but it’s something worth exploring long-term.
We’ll see what the future holds.
